SCP-162
SCP-162 containment chamber.
«SCP-162 is a mass of fish hooks, fish line, needles, scissors, and other sharp objects in a rough ball shape close to 2.4 m (8 ft) in width and 2.1 m (7 ft) in height. After being in SCP-162's vicinity, subjects have reported feeling drawn to the object in order to touch it. This desire can extend for several weeks after seeing the item, becoming an obsession in many cases…»
Created for SCP-106 Photography Contest "bonus category".
I used Blender (with Hard Ops add-on). Sometimes - GIMP, Inkscape, Substance Painter and even LibreOffice Draw, but all the elements I've created with them are tiny on this image and you can't discern them.
The work took 19 hours and 12 minutes. And I thought much less... The render time is 08:21:16.
SCP Wiki says: "SCP-162 is to be kept in a sealed steel container at all times". I've interpreted "steel container" expansively and decided it can be a big room with metal floor, walls, and ceiling. Obviously, it looks much more interesting than just a 2x2x2 meters metal box.
Since the room should be sealed I was thinking is it a good idea to add a vent to the scene. After all, I decided to add it: this is the "Euclid", nobody knows exactly, what can be expected from it, so an extraction should be - just in case.
