Reference sheet - Najim

With absolute disregard for the fact that references usually feature flat color (we had too much fun with the light effects!), after the first concepts we finally got our little star fae ready! Absolutely happy with the final result 🌟

Najim's creation was at first inspired by a discarded concept from certain movie (* coff coff * Wish was bad *coff coff * and they erased everything nice, Star Boy included * mega coff *), but as these things go, they ended up becoming their own character, part of a bigger story. One where the throne of a faraway kingdom can be won through a huge game of chess, and the citizens willingly become chess pieces for their kings...
