Japan Railways 205-0 Batch 2 (Saikyo Line)

Because the E231-500 Series were introduced on the Yamanote Line from 2002, the existing 205 Series sets were transferred to other lines, like the Saikyo Line. Two additional second batch sets were transferred to the Saikyo Line in 2002 and 2004, and the roller blind-type destination signs were replaced with tricolor LED-type signs, just like the two second batch sets previously transferred from the Yamanote Line in 1990 and 1996.
