Crow and Scarecrow

I haven't come up with names for them. They both live with the old witch, (the one in purple) The old witch is a kind old lady who lived alone, she lives in a forest. She uses her magic for mostly simple things, and is not incredibly powerful. She is especially interested in growing magical plants. She has many gardens, some for flowers, some for crops, some for plants she experiments with. She used her magic to bring the scarecrow to life to help protect her garden. The scarecrow becomes like a daughter to her and helps take care of her as she ages. The crow is one she found injured after he had fallen out of his nest. She healed the crow and raised him. She granted him intelligence and made him her familiar. The crow and the scarecrow become best friends and enjoy living with the witch. But the witch is growing old and doesn't have many years left. The spells she cast on them weren't powerful enough to last after her death. Once she dies the scarecrow would become inanimate again and the crow would just become a regular crow. She tells them to travel to where a powerful witch she once knew lives far up on a snowy mountain. That witch should be able to extend the spells.
They are worried about leaving the old witch on her own, but she forces them to leave saying she had lived on her own many years before they arrived and would be fine on her own once again. They travel a long and dangerous journey and find the mountain witch. She has lived in solitude on the mountain for decades (haven't decided why yet) and become a cold person. She is unwilling to help them. They somehow earn her favor (i haven't really worked out this part but they make her happy somehow or something, or become friends? idk) She doesn't extend the spell but instead turns them human (or somewhat human) The crow still has tiny wings, and the scarecrow has mostly wheat hair. They thank her and say they must hurry back to the old witch. The mountain witch decides to come with them.
She reconnects with the old witch and helps her with her declining heath. (I havent really decided how she helps her because I haven't really decided what she's capable of with her powers, like she can turn a crow and scarecrow into humans but I don't really know if she would be able to reverse ageing or anything, she is able to slow her own aging quite a bit but idk)
They all live with the old witch. Sometimes the crow and scarecrow travel around the land. They are both learning magic from the witches.
