The children who claimed to be my friends were only keeping up appearances and when no one was looking, they used me as a punching bag and cut off my hair. And the couples who took me in, tossed me aside the day after because I wasn’t the daughter they desired… But I don’t really resent them for it. Long ago, I stopped hoping to find someone who will understand me. And since feeling pity for myself ain’t my style, I chose to keep on fighting and standing up for what I believe in, even if I stand alone.“

PLOT

Originally a kind and innocent girl with great devotion on life, Jochebed became an aloof and apathetic teen due to the traumatic events she went through in her childhood ten years prior to the events of the story she is focused in. Ever since then, her life has changed and she has locked away her carefree heart. Now, all that remains of her facade is a stoic and gloomy character who decided to live life bearing pain and standing alone.
Due to distorted and vague memories of her dead mother and no knowledgment of her father, she basically grew up alone, surrounded by either strangers or abusive fosters homes, making it hard for her to understand about love and kindness.
Through the time she spends with the Sonic and his friends, is proven that under that cold and emotionless demeanor... lies a kind, determined, curious, willful and unstoppable girl with enough love, loyalty and compassion, with a deep desire for a better life.
