“I don’t like being dependent on the acceptance, approval, or the expectation of others; I decided to live my life without looking back and letting go of all the pointless drama and surround myself with people who makes me laugh and smile. And trust me when I say life can be very bumpy sometimes, but that shouldn’t stop you from keep on living and do what you enjoy. Life is too short to worry about embarrassment and self-denial. You better enjoy it because the next day promises nothing.“

Jade is by nature easy going yet very hotheaded, but being born outside the wed clock caused a rift with her relationship with her parents.
Her parents had her when they were 16. By influence of the grandparents, they were forced to marry and grow up to sustain her daughter. Having teen parents, caused tension and that created big fights. So Jade tried to behave as well as she could to relieve the pressure of her parents, but it was a big weight on a child’s shoulders. Luckily, Jade had her grandparents; who deeply loved their granddaughter and became a great support. But when Jade turned 7, there was a fight which involved her due an accident she suffered. And when her parents were yelling, they confessed that she was unwanted. Since that, Jade developed a contempt and hatred for her parents.
In the end, instead of facing their daughter they avoided being her, and that left Jade by herself. When her grandparents realized this, they talked with her parents and came to an agreement. That Jade would live with them to Knothole. After Jade came to their village, she was relieved and happy that she never had to be alone. Surrounded by friends and people who really liked her, she was able to smile again. However, deep down; but she always denies it; hopes that her parents will go back for her.
