A guy from Ontario, Canada who has a love for design and illustration with an equal love for playing video games.
I am a graduate from the graphic design program at Mohawk College. Primarily my skills are Illustration oriented, consisting of traditional pencils, coloured pencils and Copics. As well as digital painting and vector art. Not to forget I also have video editing and motion graphic skills up my sleeve as well.
Always inspired by all the media I see around the world and that leaves and impact on my style. My biggest inspiration is the old-school Generation 1 Pokemon watercolour art by Ken Sugimori. The usage of colour and texture created in his art has always resonated with me greatly, it's something I want to take from and spin it my own way.
The majority of my work has been put into action through commissions for creators on Twitch.tv bringing ideas to life through chat emotes. Incase you're unaware, Twitch.tv is a live streaming website (Primarily video games) and within a stream viewers can join and talk in a chat window to interact with the broadcaster. Aside from typing funny messages you can also post these cool little pictures in chat called "emotes" (This is where I come in). You can use images you find on the internet for emotes but that isn't as fun as original art, so most people create their own emotes or commission others. Since 2018 I have been commissioned by many creators on Twitch (You can look up JCog and imglower for some notable people I've worked with).
When I'm not drawing my favourite video game or anime character I'm usually playing video games myself. My favourite video games are Super Mario 64, Paper Mario, The Super Smash Bros. series and Tetris Attack/Pokemon Puzzle League.
